Hi Pastor. I am a Christian. My boyfriend came out to me and told me that he is a transgender. I fully support him and his decisions. Is it wrong for me to? Is it wrong that I am with him? His mind doesn't match his body. God gave him both though. I struggle constantly with all this.

My friend, the enemy is a wicked liar and has cast this generation into terrible confusion. Speaking strictly on the Word of God (because I do not live by anything else) your boyfriend has been confused by the enemy of his soul. Without Jesus Christ our nature is controlled by sin. 

It is a lie of the enemy to say that this is how God has created some people. Unfortunately we are all born with our sin nature. Sometimes that nature causes us to become liars, thieves, murderers, sexually active before marriage, haters of God, self-centered and convinced that we are homosexual and transgender, as you put it. 

God did not desire any of this but we can’t help our sin nature. That is why Jesus came to rescue us and set us free from this nature that separates us from God. Your boyfriend can be absolutely convinced of the truth of this lie and would argue against me but that is due to the fact the enemy has hidden the truth from him. All people can do is pray that in God’s mercy the Spirit will convict him of the truth and he will turn to Jesus for salvation from this sin nature. Jesus told us that with God all things are possible.

If you fully support him it is the same as saying that you fully support a liar. You can stand with him as a friend, praying for God’s mercy and grace, that he would see the truth of his situation. You can be his friend and love him by sharing the Word of God with him so he would see the truth. But if you support him as in you encourage this lie then you too are in danger of being sucked into this lie from the enemy. I pray that you can receive this in the love that I offer it.
